“The growth in Christian and inspirational fiction, it is clear to me, is more than a fashion trend,” Michael Hyatt, president of Thomas Nelson, said in a company earnings statement for the fiscal year ended in March. Thomas Nelson reported record profit of almost $20 million, compared with $16 million in the year-ago period. The best-selling work of the year at the company was "Monster," a work of fiction by Frank Peretti, a Christian author.
